Iraq’s oil exports in Oct. reach 58.2m barrels

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: Iraq exported 58.2 million barrels of crude oil in October 2009, making a total revenue of $4.187 billion U.S. dollars, the Iraqi Ministry of Oil said on Sunday. “The crude exported throughout the last month was produced by Basra’s fields (46.3 million barrels for $3.313 billion U.S. dollars) and Kirkuk’s fields (11.9 million barrels for $874 million),” according to a ministry statement received by IraqiNews.com news agency. The average oil price was $71.94 a barrel, according to the statement. Twenty-seven international companies from all over the world were the purchasers, it added. SS (P) 1
