ISX index down by 0.275% in 2008 last session

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: The Iraqi Stock Exchange (ISX) index decreased by 0.275 percent, closing at 58.360 points, while five contracts grabbed 65.5 percent of Tuesday’s trading activities totaling 2.721 billion Iraqi dinars ($3.2 million) over 1.931 billion shares. Today’s session, the last this year, saw trading over the shares of 42 joint-stock companies, the share rates of 8 of them went up, 13 down while 21 retained their previous rates. Five contracts were conducted over the Al-Iqtesad Bank, Assyria International Bank, al-Mansour Hotel, while the last two were concluded over the al-Eistethmar Bank.
