Italians to visit Iraq for al-Faw Big Port – ministry

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: The Iraqi Ministry of Transport on Wednesday announced that an Italian team would visit Iraq soon to discuss the designs of al-Faw Big Port, according to a release issued by the ministry. “Transportation Minister Amir Abdiljabbar met the Italian ambassador to Iraq to discuss the latest developments concerning al-Faw Port,” said the release that was received by IraqiNews.com news agency. “The ambassador told the minister that an Italian team would visit Iraq soon to discuss the port’s design,” it added. “The Italian ambassador addressed an invitation to the Iraqi ministries of transportation and planning to visit Venice Port in Italy, as al-Faw Port will be similar to it,” the release noted.
