Jordan’s PM in Arbil to open economic forum

ARBIL / IraqiNews.com: The Jordanian Prime Minister, Mahmoud al-Bukeit, has arrived in the city of Arbil, the capital of northern Iraq’s Kurdistan Region, on Sunday, on an official visit, accompanied by several Jordanian ministers and businessmen, to attend the opening of the Joranian-Kurdistan Economic Forum.   “The Jordanian Prime Minister has arrived in Arbil Airport on Sunday afternoon, on an official visit, accompanied by a number of Jordanian ministers and businessmen and was received at the airport by Kurdistan’s Premier, Barham Saleh and a high-level delegation,” IraqiNews.com’s correspondent reported.   The Jordanian Consul in Arbil had announced early in the day that Jordan’s Prime Minister, Maarouf al-Bukiet, would arrive din Arbil on an official visit, accompanied by a number of ministers and businessmen, on an official visit, aimed at developing the economic and investment relations between Arbil and Amman, as well as attending the opening of the Jordanian-Kurdistan Economic Form.   SKH (TI)/SR 286
