Kurdistan’s budget in 2010 ID11.433 trillion

ARBIL / IraqiNews.com: The Kurdistan Regional Government approved the region’s budget in 2010 with a total amount of ID11.433 trillion. “There is a deficit of ID835 billion in the budget,” Barham Saleh, the Kurdistan regional prime minister, said in a press conference in Arbil on Tuesday attended by IraqiNews.com news agency. He attributed the deficit to the Peshmerga (Kurdish local armed forces) issue that has not yet been resolved with the central government of Iraq in Baghdad. “The budget will be sent to the Kurdistan regional parliament for final approval,” Saleh said.
