Lawmaker calls on Turkish companies to invest in Iraq

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: Head of the parliament’s foreign relations committee, Hamma Hamoudi, discussed on Tuesday with Turkish ambassador to Iraq bilateral ties, calling on Turkish companies to invest in Iraq, according to a statement of his office. “Hamoudi praised Turkey’s efforts in encouraging Turkish companies to invest in Iraq,” said the statement received by IraqiNews.com news agency. “For his part, the ambassador presented an official invitation from the Turkish foreign minister to Hamoudi to visit Turkey to meet with the Turkish president and prime minister,” it noted.
