Marabi expects delay in completing Supplementary Budget of 2012

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The member of the Parliamentary Economy and Investment Committee, Hussein al-Marabi said that “The delay in indorsing the Supplementary Budget resulted from the current political crisis,” expecting not completing it during this year. Marabi stated to IraqiNews.com “Funds were monitored from the Supplementary Budget of 2012 to increase the salaries of the retired people, and sums to compensate the victims of Terrorism in addition to sums whcih have been allocated to some service institutions and for the Ministry of Justice to build prisons as well as allocating 25% of the SB to distribute it on the citizens under an initiative by the Sadr Trend.” “It was supposed to start organizing the SB during last June,” he noted, stressing that “However, the political crisis impacted directly on completing it, so we think that the SB will not be completed during the current year.”
