Maysan Governor displays investment opportunities at Iraqi-German Economic Forum in Berlin
Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) Maysan Governor Ali Dawai Lazem displayed 500 investment opportunities available in Maysan province during the 2nd World Economic Forum in the German capital, Berlin.
A statement by Maysan Governorate cited on Wednesday “The Governor of Maysan province displayed (500) investment opportunities during the 2nd World Economic Forum hosted by the Iraqi embassy in Berlin in cooperation with the Arab-German Chamber of Trade and Industry.”
“The Deputy Prime Minister, Ruz Nouri Shawis, has chaired the works of the World Economic Forum in Berlin which started, on last Tuesday, with attendance of some Iraqi ministers besides German officials,” it added.
In his speech at the opening ceremony, Shawis referred that “Iraq seeks to integrate with the global economy,” calling the German companies and businessmen to make use of the interdisciplinary investment map to join the Iraqi markets.”
