Maysan Oil Co.: 14 Oil wells drilled in Bazargan Oil field

Maysan, Amara (IraqiNews.com) The General Director of Maysan Oil Company, Ali Muraj Suedj, announced the accomplishment of drilling 14 Oil wells out of 20 Oil wells in Bazargan Oil field according to the contract which was concluded with the American company Witherford which accomplished drilling 20 Oil wells in Bazargan Oil field.

The Director reported in statement received by IraqiNews.com that ”The cadres of Witherford company accomplished the drilling operation at a record time and they are working on three Oil wells which leaves only three Oil wells out of the total wells.”

The statement added that ”The company promoted its production system by accomplishing these Oil wells and thus it will promote the national economy,” noting that “The Oil wells, which have been accomplished by the company, provided production capacity that reached (6900) barrels daily.”

The Director of the US CO. pointed out that ”The Koscal Company, the company which contracted with Cenok Chinese Company, has completed repairing (101) Oil Wells in Abu Gharab Oil field with production capacity reached (1700) barrels daily and the Chinese company has also completed repairing (17) Oil wells in Fakka Oil Field.” \
