MoE, Turkish Co. conclude 2 contracts

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Ministry of Electricity concluded two contracts with "Shara Turkish Company" to provide the ministry with insulators and accessories.

The Spokesperson of the Ministry Musab al-Mudaris said "The first contract is to provide the ministry with insulators and monitoring equipments for the energy importing line (Karkha- Amara, 400 kv) with a cost of $ 1,500 million within 6 months duration, while the second contract is to provide the ministry with insulators and accessories for the lines of (400 kv and 132 kv) at a cost of $ 10,500 million where the execution duration will be for 6 months as well."

The ministry was represented in these two contracts by the engineer Abdul Razzaq, the Dirctor General of the Directorate General for Energy Transmission Projects, while the Engineer Timuggi Aonokor, the company’s Sales Manager represented the Turkish company.
