MoT: Baghdad Ship to enter service soon

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Ministry of Transportation announced proximity of entering Baghdad Ship for Maritime Transport to the service in the Sea Fleet. A statement by the Ministry quoted the Acting Director General of the General Company for Maritime Transport Samir Abdul Razaq Hussein as saying “Under supervison of the Minister of Transportation Hadi al-Amiri, Baghdad ship sailed from the shipyard of the Chinese dock No. 1 (DINGHENGJIANGDU) to (AVIC) Port, on Saturday.” “The ship completed all customs procedures in order to change the flag, where the ship was built in the People Republic of China of (7850) tons capacity and the length of (116) meter and now it is ready to conduct its first voyage.”
