MoT expresses readiness to transport commodities via Dry Canal project

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The General Company for Railways related to the Ministry of Transportation announced its readiness to transport the imported commodities across the dry canal project.

A statement by the Ministry cited “The Company is willing to transport the goods imported for favor of importers and traders through the dry canal project which links the Persian Gulf with Basra ports and the Mediterranean.”

“The Company is ready to transport the goods from the Iraqi ports to Tartus, Ladhqiya cities in Syria and Turkey via the same canal and vice versa with suitable prices,” the Statement confirmed.
