MP calls to rely on alternative sources of energy

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: A lawmaker from the Iraqi Accord Front (IAF) called to rely on alternative sources of energy, arguing that oil alone cannot satisfy the country’s demands. “The government and Parliament should rely on alternative sources of energy, other than oil,” a release posted on Tuesday on the IAF’s website quoted MP Alaa Makee as saying. “The Ministry of Science and Technology should submit figure-based recommendations in this regard,” he added.
