MP urges govt. to depend on non-oil resources

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: Lawmaker Abdulbari Zebari of the Kurdistan Alliance on Wednesday called on the Iraqi government to depend on financial resources rather than oil. “Iraq should not depend on oil as the only source to fund the budget,” Zebari told IraqiNews.com news agency. “Approving the 2009 budget has been delayed because of the reduction in oil prices,” he added.
