Parliament gives ID100,000 to every family on Lesser Bairam

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: The parliament approved on Monday the proposal presented by the Sadrist bloc to give each Iraqi family ID 100,000 on the ration card base, a lawmaker said. “The amount, which was suggested by the Sadrist bloc, will be distributed before the Lesser Bairam ( Eidul Fitr) ,” Ghufran al-Saadi told Iraqi News. “The suggestion faced opposition by the government’ s representative in the parliament for the absence of sufficient financial resources,” she said, noting that the lawmakers insisted on it as the Finance Minister Baqer al-Zubaidi had said in the parliament once that the ministry has surplus of 4 billion Iraqi dinars.
