PEIC to host each of Planning, Finance Ministers soon

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) Member of the Parliamentary Economy and Investment Committee, Salman al-Musawi announced that the committee will host each of the Ministers of Planning and Finance when the Parliament resumes its sessions to discuss activating the Infrastructures Law related to reconstructing the infrastructures according to Late Payment. Musawi mentioned “The degradation in the infrastructures in the country makes it imperative for all officials to assume their responsibilities towards the people and to earnestly work on ratifying the Late Payment Law since it will contribute actively in reconstructing the country in a short time.” He continued saying that “The system of late payment is conducted in most countries of the world especially because it eliminates the financial and administrative corruption since the contracting will be with giant companies and according to convenient payment manner over twenty years where the payment starts after passing two years from completing a project.”
