Ports Company works on increasing capacity

BASRA / IraqiNews.com: The Iraqi Ports Company is working on increasing the capacity of the country’s harbors through “big” development projects to deal with the increasing number of arriving ships, according to the Iraqi ports department’s relations & information chief. “The company is planning to buy equipments in this regard,” Abdelkareem al-Basri told IraqiNews.com news agency. “It also improved electricity supplied to the ports, provided safety equipments, and dealt with the pollution issue,” he said.
