Recycling factory soon in Thi-Qar

Iraq-Summary THI-QAR / IraqiNews.com: The investment commission in Thi-Qar has signed a contract with an Iraqi investor to set up a recycling factory in the province, the head of the commission said on Thursday. “An area of 10 square meters in Umm al-Hajoul area (30 km south of Nassiriya city) has been zoned for the project,” Ismail al-Abboudi told IraqiNews.com news agency. “Work on the factory is scheduled to begin within 30 days and is expected to be completed within three months,” Abboudi explained. “The total cost of the project is $6.83 million U.S. dollars,” the investor said, adding that it will provide over 100 job opportunities for local residents.
