Russian company mulls implementing oil projects in Basra

BASRA / IraqiNews.com: A Russian company discussed on Thursday with Basra Governor Shaltagh Abboud al-Mayah implementing investment projects in the oil sector, according to a media source. “Talks tackled the work mechanism in the province to rehabilitate and reconstruct the oil regions and to develop and fix oilfields and pipelines,” the source told IraqiNews.com news agency. “The company presented a study on the Basra oilfields and ways to solve their problems, expressing readiness to cooperate with the Iraqi side,” he added.
