Small Financing Conference held in Arbil

ARBIL / IraqiNews.com: The Small Financing Conference in Iraq started deliberations here today among promises of financing institutions to support small merchants, sellers and farmers, after being rejected by banks and financial institutions due to the lack of reputation and guarantees. Executive director of Trust Organization for Smaller Financing Abbas al-Saidi said that 100 personalities, representing 12 financing institutions, participated, including the Central Bank of Iraq, governmental and private banks and representatives from USAID. The 2-day  conference will discuss the needs for successful financing  for both women and young people. RM (TP)/SR298
