4th round of oil licenses bid starts on Wednesday
Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The forth Oil Licenses round started this Wednesday, morning, in headquarter of Oil Ministry concerning exploring oil and gas bids in Iraq. IraqiNews.com correspondent reported “The new round will be distributed on 12 exploration sectors all over Iraqi provinces.” “The round was attended by the Deputy Prime Minister for Energy Affairs Hussein al-Shahristani, the Oil Minister Abdul Karim Laebi with participation of (47) foreign and Arab companies.” The Oil Ministry had announced that the 4th round of oil licenses bid includes 12 exploration sectors in provinces of Babel, Mothana, Diyala, Wassit, Nineveh, Anbar, Najaf, Diwaniya, Basra and Dhi Qar.
