Transport minister urges Britain to start direct flight to Baghdad

Iraq-Britain BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: The Iraqi transport minister on Thursday urged Britain to start a direct flight between London and Baghdad to encourage British investors and businessmen to invest in the country. “Transport Minister Aamer Abduljabar met on Thursday morning (April 16) with a delegation from the British development office and the constructors and British companies union,” said a statement of the ministry received by IraqiNews.com news agency. “The minister reviewed the ministry’s projects and called on the British authorities in start a direct flight between Baghdad and London to encourage British investors and businessmen to come and invest in the Iraq,” it added.
