Turkey to host 4th Iraq International Fair

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: The Turkish city of Gaziantep will host the Iraq International Fair in May 2009, the Iraqi Ministry of Trade said on Thursday. “In coordination with Forum Fairs and Promotions Company, the State Company for Iraqi Fairs will organize the 4th Iraq International Fair,” according to a ministry statement that was received by IraqiNews.com news agency. The fair, scheduled to take place from May 21-24 at the Middle East Exhibition Center, is the only fair to be organized by the Iraqi government in neighboring Turkey, the director general of the State Company for International Fairs said. The fair covers three main topics: building and construction, agriculture and foodstuffs, and general industrial and agricultural products. SS (P)/SR 1
