VP urges expanded trade relations with world

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: Iraqi Vice President Adel Abdelmahdi on Wednesday called to establish strong trade relations worldwide and to open the door to further trade cooperation. The remark was made during Abdelmahdi’s meeting with the Iraqi minister of trade, Abdelfalah al-Sudani, in the capital Baghdad, according to a statement released by Abdelmahdi’s office and received by IraqiNews.com news agency. Meetings with the visiting Turkish delegation, led by President Abdullah Gul, have brought positive results, including an increase in the trade volume between the two countries, which is expected to stand at $20 billion.
