Water project initiated in Basra

BASRA / IraqiNews.com: A local company on Monday initiated work on a water station compound in Basra’s Shatt al-Arab district. “The cost of the project exceeds 935 million Iraqi dinars (1 U.S. dollar = 1,118 Iraqi dinars),” the head of Basra’s construction unit, Engineer Ziyad Ali, told IraqiNews.com. “The estimated completion period is six months,” Ali added.
