We asked for investments during Doha summit – minister

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: The Iraqi Trade Minister Abdulfalah al-Sudani on Wednesday said that Iraq demanded Arab countries during the Arab Summit held in Doha to encourage their companies to invest in Iraq through huge projects. “The Arab socio-economic council discussed many issues related to Arab investments,” said a release issued by the trade ministry and received by IraqiNews.com news agency. “He called upon the Arab companies to invest in Iraq after the recent security improvement in the country and passing the investment law by the Iraqi parliament,” it added.
