Abadi arrives to Habbaniyah Base east of Ramadi

(IraqiNews.com) General-Commander of the Iraqi Armed Forces and Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi arrived on Wednesday to Habbaniyah Base east of the city of Ramadi to check the military operations to liberate the province.

The head of Amiriyat al-Fallujah Council, Shaker al-Issawi said in an interview for IraqiNews.com “Commander of the Armed Forces and Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi arrived to Habbaniyah Base (30 km east of Ramadi).”

“The ground forces commander Lt. Gen. Riyadh Jalal, governor of Anbar province Suhaib al-Rawi, the commander of Anbar Operations Maj. Gen. Qassim Mohammadi and I have met al-Abadi,” he added.
