Academic year to start on next Sunday across Iraq

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Iraqi schools will start classes, on next Sunday, for the academic year of 2012-2013.

The Spokesperson of the Ministry of Education, Walid Hussein, said to IraqiNews.com on Sunday “More than nine million students will head to schools, on next Sunday, all over the Iraqi provinces except for Kurdistan Region.”

“The Ministry completed the preparations for the new academic year and will distribute the textbooks and stationery on students by end of the current week,” Hussein added.
