Babel calls MoD to quickly secure northern Babel

Babel (IraqiNews.com) The member within Babel Provincial Council, Hassan al-Janabi, called the Ministry of Defense to quickly send the security forces to eliminate the elements of al-Qaeda from the areas of northern Babel.

Speaking to IraqiNews.com, he said “The geography of Babel province request the support of the Land Forces and the Helicopters at the same time where al-Qaeda became active in the areas of northern Babel and started threatening the civilians by detonating the residences.”

“The local government of Babel and Babel are holding meetings with the security officials and request to quickly secure the areas and eliminate the sources of threat in addition to bring back the displaced families to their residences,” he concluded.
