Babel Electoral Center increases efforts to update voters’ data

Babel (IraqiNews.com) Babel Electoral Directorate increased the efforts to update the voters’ data preparing for the next parliamentary elections.

A statement by the Independent High Electoral Commission received by IraqiNews.com cited “Babel Directorate specified some mobile teams in the rural areas to update the electoral records and urge the citizens to largely participate in the elections.”

“Some of the correspondents of the media outlets accompanied the teams where they were acquainted with the updating process and made some reports related to this issue,” the statement added.

“The Directorate inaugurated 37 centers and formed 53 teams for this purpose,” the statement concluded.
