<p>Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) <strong class='StrictlyAutoTagBold'>Baghdad Mayorship</strong> accused MP Maha al-Dori of the Ahrar bloc of trying to extort the Mayorship through launching remarks that target <strong class='StrictlyAutoTagBold'>Baghdad Mayor Saber</strong> al-Issawi, describing these statements as “an overt extortion to get financial benefits.”</p>
<p>A statement by <strong class='StrictlyAutoTagBold'>BM</strong> cited that “MP Dori should follow up the administrative and financial corruption and the professional failure in the Ministries of her bloc instead of creating troubles for others from nothing.”</p>
<p>“Dori’s statements represent a political and administrative blackmail to drag the Mayorship into a struggle that disrupts the efforts of its cadres in implementing the projects of constructing the capital Baghdad,” it added.</p>
<p>MP Dori has accused <strong class='StrictlyAutoTagBold'>Baghdad Mayor</strong> of abusing some MPs through TV Sat channels, expecting that “Issawi has paid thousands of dollars in order to offend some MPs through the shows aired by those Sat channels.”</p>
