Basra University to participate in Shell Environmental Marathon

Basra (IraqiNews.com) The University of Basra signed an understanding memorandum with the global company (Shell) to participate in Shell environmental Marathon for the meddle east and northern Africa which is scheduled to be held in the Qatari Capital Doha in 2015.”The President of Basra University, Dr. Thamer Ahmed Hamdan, reported in statement received by IraqiNews.com ”The Understanding memorandum stipulates to provide the financial and moral support to the team of students from the Engineering College of Basra University to participate in the environmental marathon.”The world record was registered by a French team in 2012 when the team used only one liter of fuel to drive for (1,4896 KM) which equalizes the distance between Egypt and England. \END\
