BIAP promotes for 3rd category

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The classification of Baghdad International Airport (BIAP) was promoted into the third category in relation to the Civil Aviaition Navigation.

A statement b y the Transportation Ministry received by IraqiNews.com on Tuesday “A technical team from the General Board for Seismology conducted the final test for the AWOS system at BIAP.”

“The system joined the service at the Airport which will increase e the competency and safety of the aviation in the airport and raise the classification of the Airport into the third category,” the statement added.
