Cabinet ratifies recommendations of ministerial committee

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Secretariat General of the Council of Ministers explained the reasons behind taking the resolution by the Cabinet during Tuesday session related to ratifying the recommendations of the ministerial committee concerning the process of equipping the items of the ration card.

The Secretariat General of the Cabinet reported in statement received by IraqiNews.com on Thursday ”The ministerial committee, which was formed according to the parliamentary resolution no. (136) of 2013, comprised the chairman of the Committee, the Deputy Premier for energy affairs, Hussein al-Shahristani, and the membership of Deputy Premier for Services Affairs, Salih al-Mutlaq, in addition to the ministers of Justice, Trade, Agriculture and Minister of State for Parliament Affairs as well as the Secretary General of the Council of Ministers.””The committee discussed the importance of adopting the reformation plan, which was endorsed by the Council of Ministers, related to using the smart card idea which was approved in accordance with the parliamentary decree no.
