CoM calls to eliminate phenomenon of begging

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Secretariat General of the Council of Ministers reported in statement received by IraqiNews.com ”The Secretariat General of the Cabinet emphasizes the importance to set legal controls to eliminate the phenomenon of begging and address the reasons behind it.”The phenomenon of begging is widely spread in Iraq and the beggars are present in every crossroads, public places and markets which abuse the general view of Iraq.According to specialists the high average of unemployment and poverty contributed in increasing the numbers of beggars, stressing that “providing job opportunities and the social care may reduce this ugly phenomenon.” \END\
