Coup attemp over, declares Turkish President Erdogan

(IraqiNews.com) Baghdad- Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan declared on Saturday that the attempted coup in Turkey has come to an end and he vowed that those who were involved in the coup will be punished; regardless of the institutions to which they belong.
The Turkish President said, “Those behind this attempt were supporters of Fethullah Gulen, a US-based Turkish religious scholar and my political enemy,” adding that ” The authority will purify the army of terrorists.”
Erdogan added, “We are on top of our work and we will not leave the Turkish state to the rebels.”
