Delegation from Salah-il-Din delivers aids to affected people of Maysan

Maysan (IraqiNews.com)- A delegation from Salah-il-Din province, arrived to Ali al-Gharbi district in Maysan province carrying aid to support affected families by the floods and rains.

The head of the delegation, civil rights activist Sabah al-Jubouri told Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com) that “A delegation from al-Alam district in Salah-il-Din province represents the elders and chieftains of tribes as well as young men arrived to Ali al-Gharbi district in Maysan province of southern Iraq, along with aid to those affected people by the floods and rains.”

He added that “The delegation does not have official representation, but represents the popular participation to help those affected people who were not financially compensated,” noting that “We want to deliver a message that we are the sons of one country.”
