Diyala Governorate to sue Iraqi service ministries

Diyala (IraqiNews.com) Diyala Governorate announced its intention to sue a number of service ministries for not granting the province its share of the investment budget.

Diayala Governor, Omar al-Hamiri, told Iraqi News “We are determined to sue some service ministries which did not give the province its merit from the investment budget over the past few years.”

Hamiri called on “The directors of the managing units to listen to the citizens’ problems in the province and what they suffered of damages due to the latest heavy rains.”

He instructed to form “Special commission to take preventive measures to ensure not repeating the floods of rainwater.”
