Diyala witnesses Hayali, Mashhadani funeral ceremony, on Sunday morning

Diyala (IraqiNews.com) Diyala province witness today the funeral ceremony of its Governor, Hisham al-Hayali, and his wife, former MP, Tayseer al-Mashhadani, amid intensive security measures.

A source in Diyala Provincial Council stated to IraqiNews.com “The funeral will be conducted at 10:00 a.m from headquarter of Diyala Governorate to Saria New Baquaba mosque with attendance of large number of Governmental officials .”

Diyala Governor, Hayali and his wife former MP, Mashhadani have passed away, on Yesterday, Saturday, due to a traffic accident on Kalar road that links Diyala with Sulaimaniya province.

Hayali who assumed office as Governor five months ago, has survived an assassination attempt on April, 21th by bombing targeted his motorcade northern Baquba, resulted in injuring three of bodyguards.

The late Governor and his wife were belong to Accord Front within the Iraqiya coalition headed by Aiyad Allawi.
