Electronic election card adopted as official document in Najaf

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Local Government in Najaf province decided to commit the governmental institutions to adopt the electronic election card as an official document for citizens in the province.The director of the branch of the Independent High Electoral Commission IHEC in Najaf province, Saad al-Abdali, reported in a statement received by IraqiNews.com ”The local government issued a resolution that commits the governmental institutions to adopt the electronic election card in promoting the files of the citizens in the province.””The local government aims at encouraging people to attend the elections registration centers distributed throughout the province to receive their electronic election cards,” the statement concluded.
