Head of SJC hosts Iraqi Judiciary Association on Wednesday

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Chief of the Supreme Judicial Council, Judge Hassan Ibrahim Humairi, hosted the Chief Judges and members of the Board of Directors of the Iraqi judiciary Association and they discussed achieving the independence of the judiciary authority.The Judicial Authority reported in statement received by IraqiNews.com ”The meeting tackled the means to promote cooperation between the SJC and the Iraqi Judiciary Association in order to strengthen the rule of law principle and independence of the judiciary authority in addition to the ways of eliminating the obstacles that hinder the judiciary work.””The members of the Iraqi Judiciary Association thanked the Head of SJC and promised his to exert the best efforts to defend the independence of judiciary and the work of judiciary authority in Iraq,” the statement added.
