HR Committee, international official discuss human rights file in Iraq

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The head of the Parliamentary Committee of Human Rights, Saleem al-Jubouri discussed with the researcher for Iraqi Affairs of Human Rights Organization, Irene Evers, the human rights file in Iraq.

Jubouri cited that “The human rights file in Iraq is significant and sophisticated this requires exerting more efforts to monitor the violations so as to address them.”

“There are many obstacles face this file in Iraq due to the nature of this file as it concerns all the components of the Iraqi society such as the file of the prisoners and detainees, missing people, widows, disabled and those with special needs,” he concluded.
