IHEC demands data of unregistered ISF elements in Najaf

Najaf (IraqiNews.com) The Independent High Electoral Commission IHEC demanded the officials in charge to provide its employees with the names and data of the Iraqi Security Forces’ elements who are unregistered at IHEC database.

A statement by IHEC received by IraqiNews.com cited “The Director General of the Najaf Branch of IHEC, Saad al-Abdali, participated in the coordinative security meeting for the officials in Najaf Police Command in order to coordinate the process of preparing the private voting process related to security ministries’ elements.”

The statement added “Abdali emphasized the necessity of providing IHEC with the data of the elements who are not registered in IHEC’s database.”
