Imam Hussein (AS) Museum in Karbala among world’s top 10

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) Representative of the UN in Karbala, Iraq, described Imam Hussein (AS) Museum in the holy city as one of the top 10 museums in the world.

Ali Kamouna made the remark in a ceremony held on Saturday to honor Ala Ahmed Ziaeddin, director of the museum.

The ceremony was organized by the UN with the aim of promoting the city, Kamouna noted.

According to a press report, it was attended by a number of Iraqi and international figures.

Kamouna also thanked the officials of the custodianship of Imam Hussein’s (AS) holy shrine for cooperation in holding the event.
