Infected bullocks seized in Maysan

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The teams of the General Company of Veterinary within the Ministry of Agricultural discovered several smuggled bullocks infected with many diseases in Maysan province.

A source, who refused to be named, stated to IraqiNews.com on Saturday ”The teams managed to seize these castrated bulls which are infected with various diseases,” pointing out that ”The investigations which were conducted by the specialized authorities approved that unidentified groups distributed these infected castrated bulls on farmers in the province.”

The source added “The Maysan Provincial Council has been previously informed about the subject, but, the council did not take any procedures concerning this issue,” stressing that ”The Council attempts to eliminate this file and neglect it.” \
