Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) On Thursday, the head of the Islamic Supreme Council of Iraq (ISCI), Ammar al-Hakim said, that Iraqi government will not allow any intervention on the ground by foreign military troops.

In his statement while visiting the frontline of the battle in al-Karma, al-Dababiya, Hakim urged the officials to accelerate the pay of the tribal fighters backing the military troops and said that, “Iraqi forces are capable of defending and liberating the land, Iraq will not allow any intervention on the ground by foreign military troops.”
