Irrigation project to be implemented in Diwaniya

Diwaniya (IraqiNews.com) The Water Resources Directorate started an irrigation project for watering agricultural areas to the north of Diwaniya province.The Directorate of Water Resources Directorate, Ahmed Kadhim, reported in statement received by IraqiNews.com ”The project will take place in Deghara area on (3,600 Acres) and will comprise three main pumps that drag water from Fawar creek through underground pipelines.””The project will be the perfect method to use water in irrigating agricultural territories,” the statement added.
