Italian Christian pilgrims to arrive in Dhi-Qar soon

Maysan, Ammara (IraqiNews.com) The Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities announced that a group of the Christian pilgrims from Italy will arrive in the Iraqi ancient city UR of Dhi-Qar province, which includes the house of the Prophet Ibraham al-Khalil (PBUH).The Director General of Tourist Groups in the Ministry, Mahmoud al-Zubadi, reported to IraqiNews.com ”There is another group of Christian pilgrims from Italy will arrive during the next months to prepare the suitable conditions for Christian pilgrims.”A source of Dhi-Qar Provincial Council stated to IraqiNews.com ”The Christian group will include 50 pilgrims coming from the Vatican to perform the rituals of pilgrimage in Ur ancient city.””The reception of the Christian delegation will be coordinated between the Iraqi Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities and its Italian counterpart,” the source added. \END\
