Karbala PC, MoYS disputes over dismissing Director of Youth – Sports Directorate

Karbala (IraqiNews.com) Karbala Provincial Council announced that the Council refused for the second time the decision of dismissing the Director of the Youth and Sports Directorate in the province Waleed Abed Turkey. The Spokesperson of Karbala PC Hassan Aday said “Dismissing the Director of YSD is not within the Ministry’s authorities and it is the PC’s right to dismiss him through voting.” “Waleed Turkey is still holding his post,” he stressed. The Ministry of Youth and Sports has decided to dismiss the Director of Youth and Sports Directorate in Karbala province Waleed Abed Turkey on the last Saturday, and appointed another person in his place from outside the province according to a statement by the Chairman of Youth and Sports Committee in Karbala PC, Mourad al-Jubouri.
