Kurdistan RegionG interested in improving prisons conditions, says Ahmed

Erbil (IraqiNews.com) The Vice-President of Kurdistan Regional Government, Emad Ahmed, confirmed that “The Government is interested in improving the situations of the prisoners by adopting the international standards and respecting the human rights.”

The Office of the Kurdistan Patriotic Union reported in statement that ”The Vice-President of Kurdistan RegionG conducted an inspection visit to the Directorate of Reforming Women and Juveniles in order to be acquainted with the conditions of the prisoners in Sulaimaniya city and to solve all thier problems as well as providing all their needs.”

The statement added that ”The Vice President, on be half of the Presidency of the Kurdistan RegionG, Masoud Barzani, congratulated the prisoners on occasion of Eid al-Fitr wishing for them to correct all their mistakes which they committed in the past to be good citizens witin the society.”
